The client

Meyn is a global leader in poultry processing solutions. Operating in over 90 countries, they provide innovative, customised, and sustainable equipment and services to meet the evolving demands of the poultry industry.

Their commitment to excellence ensures clients worldwide can process poultry efficiently and responsibly. Meyn sought a supplier capable of delivering customisable machine guarding solutions, with flexibility being the key.

The need

Operator safety and production efficiency are crucial in the poultry processing industry. Meyn needed safeguarding solutions that could meet the highest hygiene standards while ensuring operational reliability. These solutions had to integrate seamlessly into their high-capacity production lines, protecting employees and maintaining efficiency without compromising on sanitation.

The solution

Designed specifically for food processing applications, we provided Meyn with the COMP-Line system from NTF Protect. This is a modular setup of stainless steel machine guards. Its flexibility allows for on-site adjustments in both height and width, ensuring a tailored fit. Additionally, we designed bespoke mounting kits for switches and electronic boxes, complemented by specialised floor mounting plates for posts and doors.

To guarantee seamless integration, NTF Protect provided comprehensive STEP files and detailed installation guides. These resources outlined the exact placement of panels, posts, doors, and other components, simplifying installation and ensuring precision.

NTF Protect

Our NTF Protect series features three different categories of stainless modular machine guards: Comp-line, Blue-line, and In-line.

All our products are designed to meet the highest safety and hygienic standards of the pharmaceutical and food industries.
